How to use AI to prepare for a presentation (with prompt)

Steps:

• Open Google Docs 

• Go to Tools > Voice Typing (CMD +SHIFT+ S)

• Select your language

• Start recording

• Do a demo of the full presentation (speak slowly so that the transcription is accurate)

• Once done, copy the transcript over to an AI tool (Chat GPT or Claude)

• Put in this prompt:

"I am preparing for a presentation. My unformatted draft script is below. Please format it properly and correct any grammatical mistakes. Use bullet points to make it easy to read. Don't paraphrase. 

<paste your transcription here>" 

• Refine results with AI:

  • Example:

    • If you see AI has paraphrased too much, follow up by saying "You have paraphrased too much, rewrite"

    • If you see AI has not formatted properly, follow up by saying, "You forgot to format properly"

• Final step: do some manual touch-ups and we are done!
